I recently purchased some DR-11 HDPE mortar tubes and the tubes are only stapled 4 times on one side close together. Will this cause any issues with the plug coming out partway on the side where there are no staples? Sorry just want to make sure this is common practice to do it this way and make sure they will be safe to use for multiple firings over the years.

Interesting. 3-4 staples is common practice around the tube. It's hard to say but the plug should be in there tight enough that one side is not going to come loose. You can always put more staples in. Make sure to inspect them after your first use.

Preferably they would be spaced around the tube. What you have should be ok but it does seem odd they are done that way.
