Thanks for the comment and I’d love to see your vids if I haven’t already!Hey RedBeard,
Also from CA.
I've seen your stuff on YouTube and you go crazy with the safe n sane displays....awesome. I do a much smaller version of what you do for the 4th but still e-fire with the neighborhood in awe!
Wow! Thank you so much for your comments and glad that some of the effects matched the music and that you enjoyed it. Much appreciation and understanding with our situation. The look on the audience’s faces after the huge intense finish was amazing. Maybe a non Safe and Sane Fireworks Show would consider some big fountains placed closer to the audience. They were about 25-30 feet away. Again, thanks for checking out my channel. So, Pyromaiden mentioned your channel...so I checked you out...not joking in the least...I just had THE MOST fun watching your Cali Safe and Sane Show 2018 man...I love it...when life gives you lemons kind of thing. You killed this dude. Great job. I think I smiled the whole way though! So cool that you just embraced it and put on something that was REALLY cool to watch. The way you timed all the effects/stages, great job man!!!
For sure man! People love watching fireworks (and your the dude that brought the joy man!!) We have a couple guys in the club (OPAG) that loveeee getting creative with fountains/gerb effects for bigger shows. We did a couple shows for the National Fireworks Association Expos back in 2015 & 2017. In 2015 we were given specific product to use (it was a competition) but I think I wound up designing with at least two different cases of fountains in spots. They had a really cool effect where they were used in the design they way they all kinda rolled in.Wow! In 2017, the entire 1st segment was done by one of the guys I mentioned above (Bruce), He made wheels, and set pieces, the whole nine yards, out of nothing but 1.4. It was really cool to see all of the stuff that everyday pyros don't really use to supplement their shows getting a whole segment (that looked really great). Really regret not putting GoPro's a lot closer to the actual positions get some good angles. And wish we could've put a little closer to the crowd.
Here's the 2017 show vid, starting at Bruce's segment:
