Hey all. I am using pegboard to create 5 shot fans of crackle mines this year but struggling to decide on the best rack design to hold them. I'm looking to do racks that hold 6 slats of board. What has worked for you? Picture attached of the boards with singles attached.

You could simply tie six slats together with threaded rod, fender washers, and nuts. Drill out the holes to accommodate the diameter of the threaded rod. You already have the pilot holes!

Dude... that's genius. Waaaaay easier than building a wood rack to hold them. I would just want to place on plywood. I would also want to figure a way to secure it to the base so they don't go bouncing around. thanks!

Here's a rack I made a few years back. Wood brackets on the side boards to just slide the pyro boards into.

Man, that's a nice design. What dimension board did you use on the sides to slide the slats into? Is that 1x1? Also wondering if you used the angle brackets just in the front and back or did you put them in the middle somewhere also?

For that purpose I would definitely go with something like NightLighter posted. My rack is more for bulk single effects.

I hope to be working with single shots like that soon. I like the design for those so I'll definitely bookmark it. Thanks!

On my rack I'm pretty sure I used 3/4" x 3/4" strips glued to the side boards to make the slots for the boards to slide into. I'm sure other dimensions would work. The metal L brackets are just in front and back.

If you get the chance maybe put some pics of it with a bit of instruction in the resources section. :geek:
