Having one heck of time finding place that sell just the pipes in GA area, anyone got tips.. looking to shoot both festival balls and canned

So you're looking for DR11 HDPE pipes, not cut to length and plugged? Google for that, and you'll find plenty of suppliers - it's a standard industrial part. If you're looking for DR11 mortars, Google for that and you'll also find plenty. Mortarsupply is in Georgia. I don't think you'll find too many pyro suppliers who would want to buy the pipe and cut it for you instead of selling you the mortars.

ok so i guess i had this coming for not simply point i already google and did not fine any our located in GA and was asking if anyone knew one. of course there our all over the states and yes im asking for uncut

thanks for the help

I wasn't trying to be snide about this, but I've spoken with people in the past who thought HDPE pipe was a pyro supply and were looking for it only from pyro companies, or were searching specifically for 16" long HDPE. There are plenty of commercial pipe suppliers around the industrial centers in Georgia who could I'm sure order it for you, but may not carry it in stock and don't list the myriad sizes and forms of pipe on their own Web sites. My own experience with this is that if you're talking about only a couple of hundred tubes, you're better off just buying the plugged mortars rather than attempting to build your own. For small quantities, you're buying your supples retail, while if buying finished mortars your vendor probably is buying wholesale. I guess you also know when ordering small diameter HDPE to specify straight pipe and not rolls.

wrtiii is spot on. I've been in business for over 12 years and I've found buying even a few hundred feet won't be worth it. If you want to make 1,000+ tubes then it might be worth it, but I doubt it. To get good pricing on HDPE pipe you need to buy 10,000+ feet. Many companies won't even sell to an individual.

How many feet are you looking for? Here are some additional thoughts:

Do you have the equipment to make the plugs?
Do you have a trailer and the time to drive to get the pipe or do you want it delivered?
Don't forget all the time it will take to get this setup, which will take hours.
What about the tax and all the jigs, wood, staples, gas, time and money?

I am confident.... if you pay yourself $20.00 per hour, by the time you spent trying to find the pipe, get the pipe, pay tax, gas money, buy all the equipment, staples, wood, etc. you are going to end up paying about $3.00 to $5.00 per tube.

People have told me "never again" meaning they have done this before and they said they won't do it again. It's too much work, time and money.

Not trying to steer you away from doing this. Knock yourself if this your thing, but trying to give you something to think about. Most of my customers don't want to mess with because of what I just said. They want to focus on their show.

Drill press
Pickup with trailer
Only work 3days
200_300 feet for now.

Yea I have done this in the pass when lived in Kansas and was about to make it for round 1.5ea. Just had few things happen that caused me to sell everything.

Getting myself in a better spot to enjoy old Hobby's and trying to see my options down here
