Hi,
I'm going to be using some of the Dominator 1.4 'Pro' / AP effects this year.
The majority of these have ematch ports on the bottom or quickmatch on top. Some are pre-wired.
I will be using the MJG FireWire with most, but I was thinking of going for a zipper effect or similar successive chain fuse. My pan was to link these like you would a few consumer cakes with China fast fuse or domestic quickmatch.
Better to use masking tape, or is there any issue hot-gluing fuse into ematch ports? Looking for any general safety advice around this although it bleeds into tips/technique.
Edit: I recognize that putting a hot glue gun near bp is probably a bad idea, but I've seen it done, so I'm asking if this is a normal practice...
