Some "discount" 6 and 8" HDPE pipe, might be useful for someone near SC. I saw this, and was hoping for smaller diameter, but if someone wants to make some big guns, it might be a cheap way to get some large diameter HDPE pipe in small amounts.

Did ya notice the Wall Thickness though? ;)

Those suckers look like they'd be way too heavy!

Can't be any thicker than the ones at the PGI... I was just figuring that someone in SC area might be able to use them, and likely negotiate a good deal, as that is not a common item or easy to ship.

I guess I've just never run across 1" wall, I had no idea anybody would use that heavy of a tube...

My 6" racks, the few I have left, weigh in at almost 80lbs. Most of that is wood of course, but all that extra HDPE would kill me to add to them! :D

When they make HDPE pipe the outside diameter stays the same even though the wall gets thicker as the DR numbers get lower. The result is you can get a 6" shell into a DR21 HDPE pipe but any lower DR number and a 6" shell won't fit. That is the reason DR11 2" HDPE pipe is used for 1.75" mortars for USA 1.75" consumer shells. If you search DR HDPE pipe you will find charts showing the ID and other specifications for HDPE pipe at different DR ratings.
