White Ice Willows or Horsetails?
We have now had over 225 consecutive hours of below zero weather. This puts us in 4th place for subzero hours in February(in MN) . Here is a cool STEM experiment you can do when it is dry and around -10F or colder. It is shows sublimation of ice.
The effect looks like white willows or horse tails.
