Happy New Year, 2021.
This was a firework ground set piece that I created for the 2021 New Year. I call it a "Fish Pole" because it is a 8' tall pole that has fish effect fountains attached to it. In the fireworks industry, a fish effect is globs of lava-like flames. This set piece was fired in the snow. The ice crystals in the snow acts like millions of tiny mirrors that reflect the globs of bright flames and make them brighter. Also when the globs of flames hit the snow, they still burn for a bit, so the globs sink into the snow and glow thru the snow.
There are pictures and layout information of the fish pole at the end of the video.

Here is a picture of the "Fish Pole". I used 2 Fish Fry Fountains (Shotgun - Hales), 4 Jumping Jelly Bean Fountains (Shogun) and 2 Retaliation fountains (World Class)

This shows the layout in closer detail and how it was fused. I used 20s/foot fuse for the main fuse. The fuses from the main fuses to the fountains were fast fuse (0.6s /foot). The connecting fuse for the Fish Fry was sticky match wrapped in aluminum foil to prevent accidental ignition.
Underneath the layout is a time line that shows (in theory) which fountains were burning at what moment in the performance.
